While visions of spring danced in my head, this week I ordered my seeds and planted the ones I’m starting indoors. For the past several years, I’ve utilized a combination of leftover heirloom seeds in my stash and store/nursery bought plants. This Christmas, I was gifted a SunBlaster Growlight Garden set in addition to the growlight of my dad’s that I already own. This gave me the push I needed to overhaul my seed stash, with the goal of planting all my plants from seed this year.
Seeds purchased this year include:
Starting Inside Now:
- Heirloom California Wonder Sweet Pepper
- Heirloom Early Jalapeno Pepper
- Cayenne Blend Chile Pepper
- Heirloom Black Beauty Eggplant
- Heirloom Listada de Gandia Eggplant
- Heirloom Dwarf Blue Curled Kale

- Clemson Spineless Okra
- Red Burgundy Okra
Starting Outside Later:

- Heirloom Blue Lake Bush Bean
